Cyberleek Leaks 25 Minutes of GTA VI Gameplay as Take-Two Pursues Legal Action

GTA VI suffered another leak, this time revealing around 25 minutes of gameplay, after the anonymous leaker known as Cyberleek released a new file with footage from the Rockstar Games title just six weeks ahead of its launch, scheduled for November 19. The video, which the author labeled “Extended Leek,” was posted on X on October 8 and arrives despite Take-Two, the franchise owner, having taken legal action to identify the person behind the leaks that began in August.

This is the most extensive leak of the game to date, since previous ones were fragments of only a few minutes, and although the material has not been officially confirmed by Rockstar, it aligns with what had been seen in earlier posts by the same leaker, which Take-Two treated as authentic when presenting them in court. The new video appeared three days after Cyberleek published on his site a poll with hidden options, whose voting closed precisely on October 8, which many interpreted as a teaser of what was to come.

What the new GTA VI leak shows

According to those who reviewed the material across social networks, the video includes mission scenes, races in Vice City and in a location called Thrillbilly Mud Club, vehicle customization, and appearances of Lucía, one of the game’s two protagonists. Throughout the footage, Jason, the other lead character, appears naked, likely due to a development-build setting from which the footage was extracted, a detail that has further restricted its spread across many platforms.

Because this is protected material that Take-Two is pursuing in court, and because of the nudity content included, Tarreo will not link directly to the video or the leak files, as doing so could expose the site to potential legal penalties and platform restrictions where the material is published. The material surfaced on X, shared by the leaker’s account and other users, despite the company’s ongoing efforts to remove it.

Who is the GTA VI leaker

Cyberleek began posting material from the game on August 18, starting with scenes of Jason playing basketball, driving, and confronting other characters, and he continued for several days with clips inside a nightclub, a police chase through Vice City, and locations that Rockstar had not previously shown. The leaker says he does this as a protest against digital-only games, pre-orders, and in-game charges, although he also promoted a cryptocurrency, which raised doubts about his true intentions.

Take-Two tries to identify the responsible party

Following the August leaks, Rockstar described them as “heart-wrenching,” and Take-Two went to court to request data from multiple platforms to help pinpoint the person responsible, in a probe the legal documents describe as “rapidly evolving.” So far, neither company has commented on this new video, and it remains unclear whether it was posted by the same individual or by someone who had access to the same material.
