The creator of the unofficial Windows adaptation of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, known as SuperMedo, has released a series of very important updates, since these improvements the PC port of Uncharted now adds trophies, a cheats page, ultrawide monitor support and the ability to run on processors from more than a decade ago, joining the DLSS and FSR 4 with which it debuted.
In this way, any user with a compatible PC can enjoy the three early adventures of the series—Drake’s Fortune, Among Thieves, and Drake’s Deception—now with resolutions up to 3200×1800, 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound, and a long list of sudden-crash fixes, all from a very practical launcher that bundles the three titles, allows adding them to Steam, and provides full support for keyboard-and-mouse play.
What the Uncharted PC port offers and what its current performance looks like
Unlike traditional emulators that tend to consume many resources, this project works in a completely different way, since it takes the original PlayStation 4 console code and runs it directly on your computer’s processor, using a system that replaces the console’s internal functions so that Windows recognizes them, while the graphics are processed through a modern interface called Vulkan 1.3.
This adaptation follows a method very similar to the one used to bring Bloodborne to PCs, by the same creator, since the program does not simulate an entire console, but runs the PlayStation 4 files directly inside Windows and translates the graphics with the shadPS4 technology base, while another programmer, known as zorde23, works on a parallel port focused on Uncharted 3, which can be played from start to finish at 60 FPS.
Seeking user convenience, the three Nathan Drake adventures open from a single main menu, which gives you the freedom to link the game to your Steam library, create desktop shortcuts, and receive updates automatically, to which now is added the trophy list for each game, with an in-game notice every time you earn one, as happens on PS4.
In terms of controls, the gameplay feels natural and very comfortable, since you can play with a keyboard and mouse or with a controller, changing the function of each button to your liking and moving the camera with the mouse in the third installment, and now the button icons adapt to your keyboard, to an Xbox controller, or to a PlayStation controller, while the new cheats page lets you activate infinite health and ammo in each game.

Nevertheless, it is important to remember that this version is still in beta, so there are some issues to be resolved, such as in Uncharted 3, where green and black figures occasionally flicker for a moment over some characters, a bug that also occurs in the shadPS4 emulator and that stems from the graphics translation.
Similarly, in the Cartagena area during the second chapter, the game tended to crash abruptly when running at high FPS, a bug that the creators fixed in version 0.3 and which, if it recurs, is solved by setting the limit to 60 FPS in the Display tab of the launcher, in addition to fixes for crashes in Uncharted 3’s London bar, loading in Uncharted 2, and the black screen on Intel HD 630 cards.
Everything you need to install and play on your computer
Next, we present the list of requirements your system must meet and a step-by-step guide to perform the installation, which is the same one we explained in our launch note for the port of the first three Uncharted titles.
System requirements and necessary files
- Windows 10 (version 1903 or newer) or Windows 11 64-bit as the operating system.
- A 3rd-generation Intel Core (Ivy Bridge) or newer, an AMD Ryzen or an AMD FX, since from version 0.3.7 the port runs on older processors that were previously not compatible.
- A Vulkan 1.3 compatible GPU with 6 GB of video memory or more, with its drivers updated, since 4 GB cards, such as the GTX 1650 or RX 570, run out of memory and crash after a while (on them it is advisable to disable smoothing and Frame Generation).
- Around 8 GB of free memory, adding RAM and Windows paging file.
- Your own copy of the game extracted from your PS4, because the download does not include the games for legal reasons, and the folder must contain the files eboot.bin, big2-ps4_Shipping.elf and big3-ps4_Shipping.elf, along with the folders sce_sys, u1data, u2data and u3data.
Step-by-step installation instructions
- Go to the project’s download page on GitHub, scroll down to the Assets section, and click the .zip file of the latest version to download it.
- Create a new folder on your computer, for example C:JuegosUncharted, and unzip there by right-clicking the .zip and choosing Extract All, rather than opening the program from inside the .zip.
- Open the folder and double-click Uncharted.exe, and if Windows shows the alert “Windows protected your PC”, click More information and then Run anyway.
- In the launcher, select the folder where you have your PS4-extracted copy of the game, which is the one that contains the eboot.bin file.
- Review the launcher’s tabs, where in Display you can choose the resolution, ultrawide and FPS, on the cheats page you can activate infinite health and ammo, and with the Steam button you can add the games to your library.
- Choose which of the three games you want to start playing and click the PLAY button, noting that the first playthrough may take a bit longer while the graphics are prepared.
- When a new version is released, the launcher updates automatically, so you don’t need to download anything again.
